Full Description:

A Sheffield/Rotherham based manufacturing company urgently require a CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator to machine light material. The salary range is £20,000 to £28,000 depending on level of expertise, day shifts only with 28 days holiday increasing to 33 days per year.

Duties are to include programming, setting and operating all the 3 and 5 axis CNC machines, machining styrofoam, resin model board and wood to tight tolerances. Also to increase productivity by optimising cutter paths and strategies, developing new technologies where machining patterns is part of the in-line manufacturing process.

Applicants must have excellent machining capabilities with light materials as highlighted above. It is also essential that applicants have some understanding of Cutterpath Creation and preferable that they also have previous experience of Delcam PowerMill although this is not essential.

The package depends on the level of expertise the applicant brings with them, a salary range of £20,000 to £28,000 for a day shift position. 28 days holidays increasing by 1 a year to 33 days.
