They are currently recruiting an HR Team Leader/Manager for one of their locations in Sheffield for an initial period of 6 months but with a view to the position to becoming permanent.
Reporting to the Director of HR, you will line manage 5 member of staff and be responsible for managing the HR Shared Services team , including the provision of appropriate processes, systems and data to support business requirements and to deliver HR transactional services in the most effective way.
Key tasks & responsibilities include:
1. To ensure the provision of timely and accurate transactional activity, setting up Service Level Agreements with internal customers as required, agreeing and monitoring standards and deliverables and implementing improved methods of working.
2. To make recommendations for process and systems enhancements and to introduce continuous improvement to processes to meet changing business needs.
3. To provide meaningful and appropriate management information from SAP and to track and analyse information and trends.
4. To be responsible for the ongoing management and integrity management of the data being used by the HR Shared Services team and to ensure the quality of work produced is of the highest standard.
5. To work with the Director of HR and other members of the HR team to implement new HR initiatives.
You will ideally have experience of managing an HR department or function and be CIPD qualified. You will also have sound generalist HR knowledge, including HR systems and experience of implementing process improvement techniques. Comfortable working with figures, data and processes you will also have the ability to build strong working relationships and influence and negotiate. The ability to successfully manage and develop a tea is essential, together with personal presence, integrity and credibility.
