Due to Expansion our client require a Online Marketing Administrator
The Role
The role includes managing the content for several prize draw and survey type websites as part of the marketing team.
All website content needs to be maintained in such a way that it is written in a search engine friendly manner, up to date and relevant to the end user;
whilst ensuring the business elements of the website works within budget.
You will also be expected where necessary to manage tests on the websites to improve the websites both in terms of functionality and business development.
You will need to understand the marketing activity which currently takes place andwhere necessary co-ordinate marketing campaigns.
This is not a technical role, but you will be expected to liaise regularly with the inhouse design department and on occasions the in-house technical team.
Key Areas of Responsibility
· Manage and write creative content in an SEO friendly manner for the websites.
· Ensure budgets set are adhered to.
· Where required, test and maximise financial opportunities and improvements –presenting these to Managers and/or Directors.
· Negotiating with outside clients (PR Agencies) and companies where necessary
· Meeting regularly with members of the marketing team for creative sessions andto share ideas
· Working with the marketing team to agree strategies in order to ensure monthly
financial targets are met, improve traffic to the sites both in terms of quality and quantity.
· Work under own initiative without the need for supervision
· Liaising with design and technical departments regarding website developments and emails where necessary
· Ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly tasks for the sites and marketing teamare carried out accordingly
· Associated administration duties
Key Skills Required
Full training about the specific business model will be given. However, it will be expected that the individual has the following skills
· Excellent written English with an ability to write for different ages and genders essential
· Experience of writing creative website content desirable but not essential
· IT literacy across Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Ability to make sense of and analyse statistical data
· An ability to ‘think outside the box’ (use of initiative and being able to see thebigger picture)
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· An understanding of business and the requirement to be profitable
· Commitment to getting a job done
· Good organisation and time planning essential
