Full Description:
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Law Costs Drafting Assistant based within the Costs team in the Sheffield Office. The position would suit someone looking for experience in a costing environment and would be an excellent entry level post for the ideal candidate. It is essential that the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the dedication to exceed expectations whilst working under pressure and maintain a flexible approach to changing priorities. It is also essential that the successful candidate is a team player, whilst maintaining the ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision. Within this role your main responsibilities will include providing high quality and accurate administrative support to other members of the costs drafting team. This will involve recalculating bills, preparing legal bundles for specific court hearings and also preparing court forms. Previous experience within a comparable position and a genuine enthusiasm towards providing accurate financial or figure work would be a distinct advantage to this role. You should also be able to demonstrate strong IT ability and confidence in using a range of computer packages, including the full suite of Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics and strong A/AS levels preferably in Mathematics. We would also be keen to see candidates of graduate calibre although is not essential to hold a degree.
