| The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join this national training provider at their Sheffield site as an administrator. Below is an over view of the duties involved. This isn’t and exhaustive list so a flexible approach will be required at all times. • Manage all forms of enquiries effectively and efficiently ensuring procedures are in place that allow information to be: 1. disseminated to the relevant people 2. collated as appropriate to provide statistical evidence 3. monitored allowing for additional marketing of courses to take place • To monitor the stock inventory ensuring stock levels are maintained and stockists are supplying orders correctly and to the standard expected by the college and its customers. • Liaise with the site manager to produce invoices for the relevant suppliers and also for the Partner Colleges as required. • Ensure the site is maintained to the highest standard at all times taking responsibility for the tidiness and maintenance of the resources, liasing with the appropriate staff and external contractors as required. • On a daily basis deal promptly and effectively with both the incoming and the outgoing post for all employees. • To participate in continual professional development as identified by both yourself and your line manager. • To work as part of a team attending regular team meetings and taking the minutes. Typing up the minutes before circulating. • Provide ongoing administrative support to the manager and all teaching staff ensuring documentation is typed in house style and proof read before circulating. • Ensure that prospective students receive a quality service allowing them to make an informed decision onto which course is right for them. • Take responsibility for collecting, receipting and banking payments and overseeing with the manager the petty cash flow. • Monitoring the takings on a daily basis ensuring financial targets are being met and informing the Assistant Principal of shortfalls. • To work with identified employees in ensuring the marketing of courses locally is achieved and as required nationally. • Maintain the first aid supplies and ensure the accident book is completed fully as required and updated on a yearly basis. The Successful Candidate: • Will need to be highly organised • Be of presentable appearance as you will be a first point of contact for visitors • Previous experience of financial admin will be welcomed |
