| Our client based within central barnsley has the requirement for a temporary SAP Systems Administrator to join their professional and focussed section. Reporting to the Senior Principal Analyst you will have responsibility for providing skilled support in the maintenance of computer applications and the development of Web and PC based applications in line with the set plans, strategies and standards. The primary purpose of the post is to provide this support for the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System within the ABAP development environment but can be requested to support other key developments within the organisation as required. Duties will include: • Analysis, design and programming of solutions to problems on computerised business applications, including third party solutions and in particular the SAP ERP application. • In-depth understanding of the interfaces between SAP and other business applications • Analysis, design and programming of enhancements or additional small applications • Liaison with business application users and relevant external agencies • Guidance and on-the-job training to trainees in the team • Performance measurement and quality assurance Based on a temporary contract working until the 29th November 2008 with the possibility of an extension of contract, we are paying £21.02 per hour for the successful candidate.
