Our client a prestigious company based in the Doncaster postcode are looking to recruit a mechanical project engineer. The role is to provide a cost effective engineering service to maintain and improve the performance of manufacturing units with due regard to safety and environmential legislation. Key duties are:
* Liaison with representatives of the business at all levels
* Plan and preparation of detailed project proposals from intial concept
ideas
* Manage entire life cycle of the project from concept through to
design, procurement and finally to build
* Assist in the development of engineering budgets
All applicants should have a minimum of HNC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering and should be able to demonstrate previous expereince of project management (ideally from a heavy engineering background) along with a good working knowledge of maching and fabrication methodologies.
Salary £28-30k
